Therefore, it draws a lot of current from the generator or shore power supply (16 A per 5 kVA Quattro at 230 VAC). A current limit can be set for each of the AC inputs. The Quattro then takes into account other connected AC loads and uses only the remaining power for charging. This prevents the generator or mains connection from being overloaded.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cb\u003ePowerAssist – Increase shore connection or generator power\u003c\/b\u003e\n \u003cp\u003eThis function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle, as the Quattro supports any underpowered alternative source. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such a case, the Quattro ensures that insufficient grid power or generator output is immediately compensated for with energy from the battery.
